This procedure may produce mild internal scarring, that can be treated for quick healing. There is usually no pain, swelling or dimpling unless you smile. Possible risks include bleeding at the site of surgery, asymmetry, damage to the facial nerve, redness and swelling, infection and scarring.
The complete recovery takes about 10-15 days, however, you can resume your normal activities, with a day’s rest.
